TYPE Volunteer
DESCRIPTION Attorneys, paralegals and law students volunteer to assist Probate clients, who cannot afford legal representation, to complete guardianship petitions. Attorneys also provide legal advice and answer questions. Dates and times of service vary.
PREREQUISTE For Compton Courthouse, a minimum of two years of Probate experience is required for Attorneys.
TO APPLY For LA County area, fill out volunteer form at the Public Counsel website.
