Stanley Mosk Courthouse
Stanley Mosk Courthouse on Hill St. handles both Civil Unlimited and Civil Limited matters.
Stanley Mosk Courthouse on Grand Ave. handles Family Law, Probate and Small Claims matters.
HOURS OF OPERATION
The courthouse is open from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday, except court holidays.

PARKING
Parking is available at various parking lots surrounding the courthouse. Parking fees range from $10 to $15 or a higher rate per day. There is limited metered street parking on Grand Ave. and Hill St.
FOOD SERVICES
Cafeteria and snack bars are inside the courthouse.
Additionally, there is a cafeteria in the basement of the Kenneth Hahn Hall of Administration building (north side of the County Mall across from this courthouse). There are also numerous coffee shops and restaurants within walking distance of the courthouse and many others within minutes by public transportation.
AMERICANS WITH DISABILITIES ACT (ADA) ACCOMMODATIONS
- There are a limited number of metered accessible parking spaces on the surrounding streets.
- There are several accessible parking spaces in the public parking lots near this courthouse including the Music Center parking garage (located on Grand Ave.) which is directly across the street from the Courthouse. Level 2 (located on Grand Ave. - Street Level) of the Music Center parking garage has direct access via Grand Ave. to the accessible main entrance of the courthouse.
- The two main entrances to the courthouse are on Hill St. and on Grand Ave. which have automatic doors. The Hill St. main entrance has an accessible ramp. The First St./Olive St. is another entrance that is accessible.
- Accessible elevators are available on all floors.
- Accessible restrooms for men and women are on the 1st, 2nd, 4th and 5th floors. On the 7th floor, the restroom for women is accessible.
- Accessible public phones are on 1st through 8th floors.
- Service animals are welcome.
- Persons with disabilities who require accommodation to access court programs, services or activities may contact the courthouse ADA Coordinator.
- Portable Alternative Listening System (ALS) equipment is available to any individual involved in a case including witness and juror. You may request this from courtroom staff or the District Jury Coordinator. Please fill out the Judicial Council Form MC-410, "Request for Accommodations by Persons with Disabilities and Response", available at the Forms Window in Room 112.
